¨…Juggling in the hand of a tremendous genius. He is without equal, an invaluable artist, both roads he traveled this night, arrive at the same truth, at a tautology that breathes flamenco¨

ABC Spain 2002

“His Piano, of pure flamenco, seems to substitute the voice of a singer, with total authenticity, when it is not Diego’s voice which sings with absolute clearness. Flamenco from head to toes, and of quality”

A.Albarez Caballero, El País de la Tentaciones 2003

“The road which Diego follows is totally distinct to that of the pianists of his generation. He has gone back, to look again at the origins of flamenco, and at the same time has allowed himself to be drawn by the instrumental richness of jazz.

Alfredo Grimaldo, El Mundo La Luna 2003

“El Aire de lo Puro, is an album that makes great listening, bursting with class”

The Seville Journal 2001

“El Aire de lo Puro is fresh and brave. Diego Amador moves safely in the way of tradition to the glory of flamenco. El Churri (his nick name by the “Flamencos”, meaning sweetheart) is the most gifted musical of his generation”

Musical Planet. Programm Nº 91 2001

“....he shows us here that he is an exceptional and virtuosic musician. El aire de lo Puro, is a intense and honest work”

The Cadiz Journal 2001

“...listening to him play a Solea seguriya or buleria on the keyboards, it is a miracle in the making, and the piano becomes a guitar…El aire de lo Puro, is a recording without fault of the musical world of today’s gypsies”

Norberto Torres, the index of reviews

“Piano Jondo approaches the classical via the wild side, and that is why Amador’s piano has such a different sonority. An album that decodes and turn flamenco up side down for whole generation”
.
The Guide of What’s On, Spain 2003

“Rehearsal 7” is impressive in the seguiriya, movement, which in his hand is not only a flamenco palo, but a tormented soul, with expression to the limits. His short vocalises, like brushstrokes, are camaron-like decorations of his piano…”

Juan Verguillos, The SevilleJournal 2005

”Diego Amador, caressing the keyboards with such love, that the dissonances are lubricated...his piano reaches to the origins of flamenco, and he remains on stage on his own for the buleria, taste, music, a hugely gifted artist, with a spiritual aura.

" The things happen spontaneously. For example, in summer I coincided with Spain with Diego Amador.  I wanted to record Flamenco music but I didn´t find the suitable person. I heard him and I was charmed with him. We gave three beautiful concerts in Andalusia. In autumn we will record a disc in Barcelona.
